Les Miserables

Based on Victor Hugo's 1862 novel of the same name set in 19th Century France. The plot follows the stories of many characters as they struggle for redemption and focuses on the struggle of ex-convict Jean Valjean. It is now the longest running musical in the world. The concert was recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with a cast of Michael Ball, Colm Wilkinsin, Phillip Quast, Ruthie Henshall and Jenny Galloway.
