Eric Clapton & Friends Live 1986
Filmed at Birmingham's prestigious National Exhibition Centre on 15th July 1986 Eric Clapton, along with Phill Collins, Nathan East and Creg Phillinganes gave one of the greatest ever performances featuring a small band format. The set list included four songs from the (as yet unheard) August album: 'Run', 'Miss You', 'Tearing Us apart' and 'Holu Mother'. All four songs were warmly received and some have gone on to become firm favourites with Eric's regular concert supporters.
The appeal of this concert is the combination of music both old and new from Cream, Derek And The Dominoes and subsequent solo material including the full version of 'Layla'. It all ends in a rousing renditionof 'Sunshine Of Your Love' as the finale.
