Al Read - Right Monkey

It is two o'clock on a Sunday afternoon in the late nineteen sixties, 'Two Way Family Favourites' has just finished and Jean Metcalfe has vanished into the ether. The footie will be on telly in half an hour and the family is sitting round the radio having just eaten their Sunday roast. On BBC Radio 2 we hear the magic words, "Ladies and Gentlemen. We present, The Al Read Show."
